In the 1980s, after working as a graphic artist, I had the opportunity to work as a medical research assistant which led me to studying epidemiology and obtaining a PhD. I went on to have a successful career at Queen’s University. Now in retirement, I am devoting my energy to my art practice, which is evolving. My work is largely non-objective, initiated using my intuition. I paint primarily in acrylics.
